Letters from the Front
Dear Uncle Senator
Yes, I’m aware. Heartily, unhappily, embarrassingly, aware.
The real reason why. THE USUAL DAMN REASON if you’ve followed my career path.
But since the most famous book about it was all letters… I finally decided to just go with it because WHEN THE STORY WON’T GET OUT OF MY HEAD I HAVE TO INFECT YOURS! And you’ll have to put up with the style.
GAH!
Letters from the Front
Dear Senator Townsend:
As I’m sure you are aware, your grandniece Genevieve and I were married the night of the Outbreak in a brief but in Georgia legally binding ceremony. You might remember me from when I was being introduced to members of Congress post Grenada. Genevieve and I are both currently up in Jersey City working in the areas around the refinery as part of the Militia program. Since Congress is still debating the Militia Act, I thought you might be interested in how that is going.
Short version: We need reinforcements. There are an enormous number of Novembers in the NYC/NJ area. If we’re going to get the Type One numbers down before the Army gets armored up, we need more Hunters.
