“So, what’s the story on the three Muertos Angelicas?” Snake Eyes asked.

“So, I’m standing in traffic on Spring Street on a fine Baltimore spring day next to a beat up brown sedan the windows of which appear to be spray painted with red spray paint and I am covered from head to toe in blood.”

“Head to toe?”

“I was hocking that shit out of my ears. The first responding officer is slowly pulling his hand of his weapon. We have determined that he recognizes me, at least by reputation.

“He looks at the car, looks at me and asks: So, what happened here?

“To which I reply: I don’t know officer. It was like this when I got here.

“’So you have nothing to do with this triple homicide?’

‘Whyever would you think that, officer?’

‘Maybe because you’re covered from head to toe in blood?’

“So, I look at him through wide, innocent blue eyes and say:

‘How is that probative?

“Insert some mariachi music here: Boogie Knight and Los Tres Muertos.
