All good. Read a lot of dreck lately. It’s painfully apparent that authors are using AI. Your stuff so dense and intriguing that a chapter of yours is worth a whole series from Amazon kindle. Not blowing smoke.

Besides that fact, the hope I get from knowing you’re gonna put more stuff out? Invaluable in this messed up timeline we are living in. Didn’t think the world could be darker than it was a year ago. It is and your stuff gives respite.

You are alive and your muse is in squirrel mode. We will get something in the future. Got it. Hope you and yours have a happy and healthy Holiday season.

“Particles of raw inspiration sleet through the universe all the time. Every once in a while one of them hits a receptive mind, which then invents DNA or the flute sonata form or a way of making light bulbs wear out in half the time. But most of them miss. Most people go through their lives without being hit by even one. Some people are even more unfortunate. They get them all.”

― Terry Pratchett, Wyrd Sisters

Seemed kinda relevant.

Glad to see your muse has not lost her cast-iron pan.

Gotta say I love seeing all the different ideas and possibilities and then reading how it all comes together in the end. So much fun.

If it weren't so far I'd ask if we could get together and discuss it. But your town is, realistically, about nine hours away.

For general purposes, figure Hot Springs, Arkansas as my location. I did get to see Sarah Hoyt at the beginning of the month when she and Morrigan went to the Hot Springs Renaissance Faire.

Glad to see the post. V glad you’re working on new stuff. As to Uncle Senator, the Basic flight next to mine (1967) had a man who was engaged to LBJ’s daughter. Noooooo, he got -no special treatment at all-, aside from weekends at the White House, relaxed discipline and uniform standards, and lots of deference from everyone on Lackland at the time.

Keep the stories coming John. Work that brain.

I'd love to see how the story sausage is made. But I'm often neck deep in the sausage casing, ground meat, and spices needed for my own writing. 😁 Send them, please, and I'll keep reading. 🫡

You ever ask your muse what Mike O’Neal is up to?

Glad to see you back posting John! Keep them coming.

I'm just glad that you're posting. It's all good stuff and it's fascinating to witness you working.

Enjoying seeing the emergence of a finished book. I was spoiled binging all the other stuff when I subscribed but comfortable to wait as you are inspired.

Yeah, I understand.

I've reached the point where, when you stop writing, or change storylines, it's because your Muse broke out the bastinado, thumbscrews, and the rack and has you bent over the desk.

Common men are relatable. A semi-divine godlet, not so much.
